Having just cleaned off todays splatterings, its left my paint marked. Its not discoloured it, but in the light you can see its marked the laquer... kind of etched into it slightly. I've been out there scrubbing as hard as I can with ScratchX and SRP which hasn't really made much difference...

I was in the same position as you 5 years ago. I went for a 1.4 16v. 98bhp is actually quite nippy.

The shops are right. Depending on the adapter, you don't have to remove the dash top to fit it. My old Alpine stereo used an adapter which just fitted behind the stereo. Mine was an AutoLeads adapter from New Alpine HU's to the Clio2

if they look crap, move them inside the car hidden under the front footwells so they light up when the doors are open.
