I can fully see the benefits of a good auto. Being able to left foot brake without ever having to worry about the clutch, both hands on the wheel meaning full control all the time, faster shifts, more gears... there's a lot to like. And that's before looking at the everyday comfort benefits...

Yeah, the Proper way to scan cars is to coat them in a layer of powder/flour so it can’t penetrate the glass. But for a 2 minute effort that’s bloody good for a phone.

Got my 12 Max and it looks bloody lovely. Sides are a proper fingerprint magnet but otherwise it’s lovely in blue. Barely any different from my XR in terms of size and weight, other than a lot less border and a little extra length. Well happy. Takes a bloody lovely picture mind.

Open diff 400lbft FWD. Hooks 2nd in the wet and on rare occasions 1st if you roll the throttle on gently. Incredible tyre.

Is anyone planning on using a magsafe charger in their car? I see Belkin are doing one which looks like it’ll hold the phone pretty well but only uses a vent mount. I don’t particularly fancy inadvertently smashing out one of the louvres from my vents so it’s a shame they don’t do a sticky one.

I thought the 6800 was going to be £500ish. If that’s true then all else aside that’s a great deal. I’m locked into Nvidia with G-sync but the competition means a 3080 may be more affordable/wise a purchase than the 70.

Strong performance from AMD, hopefully it encourages Nvidia to drop their prices, but then the 3070 is supposed to be cheaper anyway.

Yep, embargo has lifted for the Founders Edition... but not the partner cards. Generally speaking the ‘speed of a 2080ti for less than half the price’ statement was true. Slightly faster in raytraced, slightly slower or even in rasterised. Ouch.
