Not indexable either! What sort of surface finish are you after on a log mani? I know usually you dont want it polishes otherwise doesn't seal but then you dont want it rough either.
Planning on running an end mill on it then onto some 600 grit?
I presume itll pull flat once bolted to the head...
Got this today and it's pretty warped. Will just linishing this sort it or shall I get money back?
I presume itll pull it tight once against the head anyway?
As some will know I serviced the 182 at the weekend. New genuine elf engine oil, box oil, filter, washers and pollen filter. Old one was surprisingly nasty!
Didn't go as planned when I put a litre of engine oil in my gearbox ? so had to redrain that and fill with some comma box oil to tide me...
Ragged it down the motorway and down some country roads and feels great. Engine always seems to revs better with a flush but the box is smooth. No crunches into third.
Happy to service CS members cars. Will cost you 6 litres of oil though.
Jesus. I'm not going to complain anymore Haha.
Going to buy some elf oil anyway and just change it next weekend after the engine oil has mixed with the comma stuff. Pretty sure I got most of it out anyway but theres always some left over. Was really dark when i drained it
