group N ecu removes the 5k kick doesn't it? gives the car a smoother curve and higher revs. with regards to the feeling sharper... could be many things. Tyre choice for example can majorly affect the handling. Plus the 182 has ESP which tightens things up.

most of the ones metioned will be over your budget then. I would go for either a Prospeed or a Janspeed for your budget. The K-Tec one i linked to is worth a shout too, very well made.

never had a issue with using 2 buckets and some turtle wax shampoo, and my paint is in excellent condition. but, i expect the snow foam is the new "cool" thing to use... i guess it makes the washing stage easier.

snow foam lance on a pressure washer mate quite unnecessary, but looks impressive.
