I'd get them to the height you want and then play about with the rebound settings. Height will not adjust how hard the ride is however you'll want to make sure you don't get any scrubbing or bottoming out.

Soften the shocks.... The springs will be no more compressed at the top of the coil than at the bottom... It simply raises or lowers the spring not compress it.

Ah yes I see....... Another question just so I know I get it 100% The Metal collar has a slightly different sized lip on each size..... Larger lip up or down??

Yep anti clockwise.... I found it best to work in half turns and put a little Mark on the key so you can see when you've turned it 180.

Personally I'd go FF 182 with Cup Packs as others have said there is little to be gained from the Cup. If you searched hard you could maybe find a FF with the Recaros already fitted..Thats if your thinking Trendlines anyway?? How much do Trophy's go for nowadays if you aren't too worried about...

My GAZ Front Coilies have given up and let all their innards out so I've bought some H&R's but they are not coming with the bumpstops. Anyone know if I can use the ones from my GAZ or am I going to need to sort out some more? Any help/advice appreciated, Thanks Andy.

If I run the car at a sensible height i.e. arch above the tyre would et38 15" alloys be ok? I need tyres anyway and quite fancy the Supertourismo's that are for sale on here :)

Hi, Just curious if all C Spanners for coilovers are the same size? Currently have GAZ Coilovers all round but the front have spat there innards everywhere and have found some H&R's for the front so just wondering if I'll need to buy some more C Spanners for these? Cheers Andy.

I think it suffered from abuse... iirc it was then bought by someone who had massive plans for 500+bhp into the body as it was a very clean car.

Lovely car. My Brother-in-law had one running 340bhp and 320 lb/ft and it was an animal

GAZ Coilovers... Have plenty more to wind down if you wanted it crazy low.
