    e46 M3 Individual. Version 2.

Looks lovely this. My favourite of the M3s, certainly the last "proper" one in my view. What is the SMG box like? I've always wondered about one of these, and think it's the kind of car that would suit a paddle shift, but hear a lot of bad things about the box. What's the difference between...

I bloody hate insurance - accident moan

Insurances companies are bloody con artists. It's all just blatant profiteering and screwing people over, but the government aren't interested in getting involved. If you have an accident, even if you are not at fault and all costs are recovered, there is every chance your premium will go up...

    Megane 225 Progress Thread

Precisely. If you like it, then who cares what a load of people on the internet think. Tis a nice car regardless. Wasn't sure I'd like a five door, but it looks well.

Wrap and deflectors don't do much for me, but like it otherwise!

    LSD's for track cars.....

My Escort rally car has a Quaife diff in it and it's pretty good. There are better options out there no doubt, but it works well for the cost. If you're going to be using it on the road still, I think a Quaife is probably a better option. I'm sure you'd get most of your money back when you come...

    The first home computers

I remember my dad (who owned a computer shop at the time) had a PC with a Megadrive built into it - it was called a "Mega PC" I believe!

    Impreza Hatch Sti

Hated the hatch when it first came out, but they can look really good in STI form, and this one proves it. Not into the big power though personally.

    Magpie's Oem+ Cup

Looks stunning that, makes mine look a right shed! Be interesting to see it with the new springs on. Mine currently has Pro Lines and I have wondered about swapping.

    Newbie Track Car Advice

When I bought my Cup it had a Ktec exhaust with no middle silencer and it was just horrendous. Constant noise. At no point did it sound good, it was just noise. I've fitted an OEM system which was about £100, though they seem a bit fragile to be honest. Otherwise, mine has a couple of poly...

Massivewangers and a silver 182 Boreham maccers

Yes indeed you did, and you totally out-smarted me going up that slip road lol Your car looked tidy, mine is a right shed by comparison, even without all the mud that is currently adorning it!

    My new Iliad v6

I suppose they don't get used by most for the daily grind so less likely to see them out and about. Would love a look some time. I'm not in Norfolk as much as I'd like due to work but I'm sure something could be worked out. A friend of mine has always had a real hankering for one and I keep...

    K4M Rally Build

The 1600 class can be tough, some big spec motors out there. Saying that though, there is in every class! My Escort will never be truly competitive, but I like the cars and get as much fun out of tinkering as I do anything else, so just have to enjoy what you have. The Clio could make a fun...

    My new Iliad v6

Like this, didn't realise that Norfolk was home to a collection of V6s. I do remember seeing one on the road around Acle way once when I was commuting. Would love to have a look at one up close, interesting cars!

    Hello from Colchester, Essex

Ahoy. The steering on mine isn't great. I think going through and giving all the bushes a freshen up is a good first modification. I've done most of mine now, just need to do steering rack and ARB bushes and it makes a big difference to start from something you know is in good order.

Clio 172 racing today at Oulton Park Neil Howard Rally Stages

I've got a couple of short clips of it on YouTube from the New Brighton Prom Stages in September. Only done on my phone so not exactly stunning quality. Steve, if you want these for any reason, let me know and will put them on dropbox for you. I resisted posting the Epynt one I sent you!

Clio 172 racing today at Oulton Park Neil Howard Rally Stages

You should put some proper pictures up, it's a cracking little car. Sorry to hear you had troubles, least it's nothing too major though. What are your plans for next year with it?

Clio 172 racing today at Oulton Park Neil Howard Rally Stages

That's @EVOgone I don't think there is a project thread as such, but I have seen a few posts about the car. It's a converted Cup racer, but I think it has a modified F7R engine. Steve's a nice guy and can really pedal.

    Project 432 - Mk1 Track Car

Lordy that has some rot in it. Fair play for fixing that, many wouldn't have bothered! Are the Safrane hubs as used on the MK1 Cup cars? Am I right in thinking the 172 used Laguna hubs? I would really love a MK1. I have a 1/18 model of one of the DIAC Group A 16S rally cars, and it just makes...

Ha, thanks, appreciate the kind comments. She gets used and abused. No repair yet, had some quotes but waiting for my mate to pay me the money, as he did it lol. She might get chopped in for a Ph.1 if I can find a nice one, or I might just fit some new wheels and try to find some more gee gee's!

I bought these after a track day, not sure if they would be allowed? Car is nothing exciting, but I like the spray in some of the pics lol. Hi-res available of course. And phone pics are awesome. I can photoshop out the wheel corosion if needed... Moody damage pictures lol

    Early 2000s Saxo

I well remember when magazines and cruises were full of cars like this. Those were the days. Times and fashions change, but the modified car scene was a pretty exciting place back then. Better than idiotic 13x10" wheels and sticker bombing. at least people put some effort in to it.

I cleaned the outside of my Ford box at the weekend, but I don't think that's on the same level as what you've been doing... Will be ordering the new gear kit in the next couple of weeks though, so we can talk about sending it your way if you'd still be interested! I need to work out which FD...
