How are you getting on with the JMT battery on this? Still ok?
I've been looking on eBay and found these two:

@EVOgone and @Pauleds are the men to advise you on rallying a Clio. Good little cars that can be reasonably competitive on a pretty tight budget.
That's what I'd do, but I'm biased.
That's the purpose of the internet isn't it? Arguing about everything.
Performance is only part of the equation though. Whilst it does matter, it isn't the be-all and end-all for many people. How the car makes you feel can be just as important, or the steering feel, or the ride, or the looks...
Steady on, I'm allowed an opinion.
You're right, I haven't sat in a Trophy. I have, however, driven a 200t and thought it was distinctly average. The Trophy is apparently better but I still think it misses the point. Renault tried to appeal to a broader audience but appear to have largely...
I expect this will be produced in very limited numbers and cost a lot of money for a Clio. That won't matter though, it never does with these kind of cars. It will probably end up being one of those collectable little oddities.
It looks a cool car but really it just shows how badly they missed...
I kind of like it. They're not taking themselves too seriously, having a bit of fun with it.
The perfect corporate nonsense that other manufacturers spew out is much worse really.
That being said, does it tell us anything more about whether they're actually going to make it?
Funny, I met Jamie at the Rally GB media preview a couple of years ago. He took me for a spin in his Swift, has a 2.0 Duratec Ford lump in it? He does seem to be a bit unlucky with reliability in that car but it certainly goes well and he is a pretty handy driver. Nice bloke too.
Sounds like a...
The class system is just bonkers at national level in my view, but that's a whole other story.
What kind of things were you up against? Good result either way, was it your first time there?
Thank god for warranties.
All of the gizmos that are being fitted to modern performance cars are rather nice but sod owning one when it's got a few years and several thousand miles under its belt. A lot of these types of car could become an expensive used proposition in the future!
I think changing to 15" wheels is a good shout. I did it on mine (went for the wheels off a Clio Williams). If nothing else, it just gives you a nice wide choice of tyres at a better price.
A set of sticky tyres, a refresh of all the suspension bushes and some decent springs/dampers and you...
Personal choice I think. I've had two Windows phones and rate them highly. Perfect integration with my mail, access to Office, great camera, the handset is indestructible and the OS is super clean. I think Android looks like it was designed by a five year old and iPhones are totally idiotic in...
Lots of phones out there that are just as good, if not better, than anything Apple make. And they don't screw people over with changing plug types every five minutes lol.
I have two phones currently; a Nokia Lumia 930 for personal use and was given an iPhone 6 for work. The iPhone is turd in my view, I really don't see the appeal, but obviously a lot of people like them. I think I will be following my friend's path. When the contract runs out on my Lumia next...
I don't see why people get such a stiffy over the sound of a V8. I'd take a five pot turbo soundtrack over most V8s or V10s.
We all have different tastes.
When I was at uni a lad had a Golf R32 (that his dad bought for him) and he ran a bonnet bra on that. Then one day he came in with a complete front end bra thing on it. He got so much stick from people that it was gone the next day!
Glad you found one you like mate.
I know you said you were after Sportlines, but I've got a set of Cooksports I might be tempted to part with if they would be of interest?
Pretty sure they do tarmac stuff and you can use your own car too I believe. Worth giving them a call. They're pretty well respected in rally circles and that's where the Impreza is born from!
