well yes, you do... as did I with my insurance even though my car came with both cup packs as standard.
Red lowering springs will be more noticeable than a subtle cup spoiler though...
read up there ^^
Middo advised to just paint the Inferno straight onto the anthracite, but that didnt work as Inferno needs a white base coat for the colour to work properly.
So I had to do the anthracite, then primer the letters only in white, then paint them inferno. Was a nightmare but...
I didnt take 'during' photos, but yeah there will be a guide up. Im doing another set soon enough for someone else so will take during photo's then for the guide.
not really, no lol. They needed a white base to the writing before the Inferno colour really came through.
Process:
Buy badges off ebay = £20.03
Thorough clean and sand using 1200 grit
Primer, sand, primer, sand
Anthracite base coat, dry for 24 hours
sand
Anthracite base coat, dry for 24...
Final coat of laquer has just dried... they need 24hrs to cure before being fitted to the car.
Turned out quite nice, anthracite badges with Inferno writing.
mine's the version with the center silencer. its subtle. It a nice compromise between a sporty sounding exhaust without being obtrusive. +3 BHP gain. Perfect.
