So today, after 2750 miles I had my first cost outside of fuel, insurance, VED and depreciation. I had 3 punctures on my 200 in 30k miles too (two of which were in the sidewall so not repairable)...my commute must be littered with crap.
Found something I don't like about it...the indicators. They don't self cancel when you think they should have done...must be due to the quicker rack. The aircon's also a bit feeble but give it time and it gets the temperature down eventually.
Apart from that all is rosy.
I'm finding the urge...
It's a shame to say it but it is true.
I really would have liked a new 200T, I think Renault should be commended for being brave and heading in a slightly different direction, but the introduction/launch/lead times/overall cost/dealer attitude and complete lack of knowledge meant once I'd had a...
Is it a problem for you if it is slower?
I went from a 172 Cup to a 200, it didn't feel as fast and required far more commitment to experience the same fun levels - more grip/composure so a higher speed needed to get it moving about.
On trackdays I had no trouble staying with 172/182s down the...
Don't think he's got his yet.
There's a couple of solid sound members over there who are of a similar mindset...but there's definitely a hang over from the previous ST/Zetec-S owning populous.
They're all on about this £600 Mountune upgrade and how good it is that if you get it done at...
You can as good as hear them knocking one out every time someone posts a picture up of the colour combo they've gone for.
"Orange and black is lush" etc.

Here's a recent opening post on a thread...
There's others that have order and bought springs/coilovers before the car's arrived too. Such a shame but hilarious. I love winding them up though.
Not a fan. Change for the sake of change IMO. They're all at it over on fiestastoc along with the wind deflectors, coloured Ford badges/wheel centre caps and silvervisions - "makes it different innit". Err, no it doesn't. They almost all have the exact same sh*t done to them, they all look the...
No idea...theory is should be as good if not better than standard as at its core it's still an efficient little engine unless you're boosting it all the time.
Mine is starting to annoy me a bit now, in my 200 I could manage max economy mode driving for a full tank easy but in this, 100 miles...
Someone on FiestaSTOC booked his in at Mountune today for this kit and the chap he spoke with was quite open about what was in the pipeline...
Stage 2 in addition to the alloy airbox you get with this MP215 kit will likely include an upgraded intercooler, a different exhaust, and circa 240bhp...
In several tests it is slower. It's also faster than its competitors in several tests. It's as 'hot' as all the others.
Why is the comment about connecting with a car that feels right bs? Have you driven one for any length of time?
There was a 197 at Surrey Rolling Road along with a whole load of other 197s/200s a couple of years ago. Had nothing other than a filter and generic remap if I recall correctly.
While all the others were knocking out 185-195 bhp, this one ran 208 bhp, seems he had a good one.
So it is...
It's not an age appropriate plate that came with the vehicle's original registration, it's one he's sourced and assigned to the car himself.
How is that not a private plate?
Does it have too many digits for you?
Idling thumbing through old ST reviews after an exhausting and scorching day at Goodwood and I came across this. Now that I've got a couple thousand miles covered, I can say this sums the Fiesta up perfectly...
"...faith in the Fiesta's controls is so immediate and heartfelt that it's all too...
Ouch with the screen. Glad you're enjoying it. I'm on 2500 miles now and it's a noticeably different car...goes better, sounds better, uses less fuel. Perfect.
I sat in and played with both at Goodwood today. I echo the comments about the steering wheel...too thick and soft.
Paddles felt good enough, wheel adjustment enabled what I think would be a comfortable driving position. I take back all previous criticisms of the standard seats, they seem more...
