Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project Day 49 After fitting the brake line and 172 hoses last night, I decided to bleed the system with fresh fluid before attempting the steering rack. Once that was done, I set about getting the Williams rack onto the car. Firstly I tried getting it through the same hole...

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project Day 47 Ive been after a Williams steering rack for a while, as the valver one just does not wind out far enough to make the tracking correct with the widetrack fitted. I managed to get hold of one, and it arrived today. Williams’ are a wider track than a valver as...

    1*2 xenon adjuster attachment?

hmmm maybe its adjusted too much or something? is there an adjuster connected tothe back at the moment (motor?)
  25. F

    1*2 xenon adjuster attachment?

yeah, will only go one way, they were stupidly tight fit on my old ones, have some sort of metal gasket thing on them.....itl just click and pop off when it gives way, the bulb will stay in the headlight and that is seperate, charger just goes onto it
  26. F

    1*2 xenon adjuster attachment?

are all three (i think there is 3) ball joints connected ok? no cables in the way or anything?
  27. F

    1*2 xenon adjuster attachment?

is the balljoint still intact? if it isnt....the units useless.....but if it is....they are a right pain, i did it with some very long nose pliers once, but was a standard headlight unit, very similar locations of the balljoint things though
