Some of you may have heard in the news today about a blazing inferno down in the New Forest in Hampshire... well i went along and risked life and limb to get some pics of it... ;)
For the people who care, I gave the car a good going over today. With advice from Ady from...
D38 paint cost a tenner from Auto-paint.com and dash inserts were £15. Satin finish was done by being very sparing with the laquer... just gave it a very light dusting.

Racing Blue 182 with the stripes, looked lowered with tints. I was parked on Wick Lane in Christchurch town centre as you drove past inspecting my Inferno... ;)
Anyone? Seen it a few times in the area.
At 13:30 this afternoon... Blue 172 Cup with some of my "Ph-Cup" stickers on the sideskirts. Parked on the overcliffe at Southbourne Beach in Dorset.
more importantly it had a massive external ClioSport sticker in the top right corner of the rear window. Reg ended in BBX

i feel the same about the 182s ive driven... mine included.
The low down grunt just isnt there. My Mk1 172 pulled much harder lower down, but that could be due to the number of miles (60k), and the exhaust and air filter.
My Mk1 172 was definately faster.
