I know you've put a lot of work in but is getting a non runner and moving all your bits over not an option?
Things are often a lot quicker and easier the second time around. GL with it anyhow.
Find me the law that says that please cotball?
I'm 99% sure that's just an internet rumour. You can tow on a rope but it has to be a over/under certain length etc.
Confession here, I've never done a bleed, but it's not very difficult as far as I know.
I'm always up for a car session though mate, just let me know when :)
As long as the read have got the bearing pressed in that should be fine, genuine renault are better though.
Mintex? Sam? WTF?
Renault rear discs, bearings pressed in already..
Brembo HC front discs from the brake man on here (g172) for peanuts
Should ask me before ordering things! ;)
P.s - who or when are we doing all this?
P.p.s mintex pads are rear I assume?
I'll try to get down to see it, interested to see how it goes/sounds now.
I'm not sure how long I missed the last few updates, but awesome work as ever.
Looks like Danny did a cracking job, not that I'd expect any different.
Re: Kieran's Iceberg 172 Project
You're doing this to save money mate?
A £1200 ph1 will save you nothing in the long run IMO.
It'll need more service items, a cambelt or auxbelt doing soon enough etc... I just think it's a bit of a false economy. I've seen enough people make the mistake...
You're putting the RS4 wheels on? Awesome. Really really modernises it.
Glad you're impressed with it so far, it's a car that ticked all my boxes, just not yet...
Not a fan of the black rings but the best looks good. Don't go black with the wheels though, they look good when proper clean in silver.
What does that valve do exactly?
