Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Very nice Dave, fit the CC buttons to a sabelt wheel like a few had. If you do a search i think there's a guide type thing.
Saw something ever so similar on Saturday as I was pulling off the m25 to south mimms, the guy knew he was it was the b****cks but I really didn't mind.
Such a mint looking motor.
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
I doubt that's on the factory belt, if it is, you're mental to even test drive it. That's an OLD belt.
Ph1's do have a spare so you're fucked there, I'm sure there will be something that you can do to it though!
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
If you drove it saturday, I'd drive it to Mikes.
It's 20 miles.
Nurse it. Properly nurse it. But for that short distance, I'd go for it. How old is the belt?
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
I was thinking about that Jenic, going to suggest the throttle cable but then he'd have to fit a new one.
I think I have an old throttle cable here, you could remove your one, snap my one and only fit one end. Make it look like the other end went walkies?
That's the thing, I'm not "interested" in motorsport. I enjoy watching it, I enjoy the engine based stuff etc, but I'm not massively into it.
Maybe, but at least I'm honest.
Me and a friend did my 172 (2.0) in about 7 hours total. My first time ever doing something like that but TBH it wasn't THAT complicated.
Where are you from? A specialist on here may be able to give you a good price?
Weird reason behind this, genuine one though...
I actually have a really bad memory, if something doesn't interest me a lot, like something I hear, no matter relevant to me or uncomplicated it is, I just completely forget it.
i.e I owned clio's for a long time (was very interested in them)...
Awesome machine. Proper lovely.
It's almost a shame it's so fast, I imagine really enjoying it on those roads isn't possible (unless you had them closed ofc). It's actually one of the nice things about the clio's, you can have a right laugh without getting to REALLY silly speeds.
On that note, I'm not actually sure if there's a 1.2 16v clutch replacement, I'll just go check...
Edit: We don't actually have a guide for that, but it sounds like you're about right on the method. I'm not sure on the 1.2 if you can get away without dropping the subframe, and just squeezing it...
If that's the case why doesn't everyone with 1.2's or whatever they're called on here get flamed for having awful quality, dangerous wheels?
The fact is that all of you "scene" boys don't like people having copies on their cars, it's not REALLY about the quality. It's fine to not like the fact...
Are £400's worth of team dynamics going to be better made than £400's worth of rotas? Both similar prices, both round things you stick rubber on, yet no one worries about the quality of team dynamics...
With things like clothing, yes, but with wheels, where 99.9999999999999999% of people haven't got a god damn clue if they're fake or not, then I'm all for it.
Difference is if I pulled out an "iPhon" or had a "rolph loren" polo on, people would notice and think me a bit of a cnut, if I bought...
It's totally the same thing.
If Keith? was intending upon drifting around his local shopping centre, or rallying around his local fields, then maybe the superior build quality of a genuine item would benefit him... the only other argument was because it was taking the money away from those who...
