mine was cured with a bit of grease around the edge of the strut top cap where it meets the bodywork.
ive learnt that its just one of those things, its not broken its just a Renault design characteristic.

the top spec clios are simply known as 172/182 cup packs.
the lower spec clios are known as cup/trophy.
use 800 grit first all over it, then down to a 1200, then 1500 grit under running water for best results.
oh, and of course you want to spray it cherry red!

saw a Mk2 Ph2 1.2 16v on the A338 Bournemouth this evening with a Rentech sticker on the bottom left corner of the rear window. Looked like a female driving.
Was that kinda bottle green/blue metallic colour.
