The little square at the bottom of the screen is an area of the screen without the UV coating. This is used over on the continent for the auto-tolling machines which drivers can place...
i would buy a Ph2... and this is coming from a big Ph1 fan, and owner.
my reason:
They are newer. All Ph1's are over 6 years old now and parts are wearing out. My money would be on a 53reg 172, with cruise control and low miles. Price should be around 6k :)

Use the 800 to remove the old laquer and the top few layers of paint. Then use the 1200 to finish the job off by removing any remaining imperfections in the surface. Then i would use the 1500 to smooth the whole lot down under running water while sanding.
the computer won't register a reading when it gets that low, it will just display - - -.
i guess yours must be broken if its showing a reading all the way down to 0 miles, i would get that looked at.

in every aspect its treated as a UK car, its only threads like this that remind me that its actually an import.
Oh, just remembered something else... Imports don't come with locking wheel nuts, just standard ones :)

alarm light is down by the gear stick... but mine's an import so doesnt have one.
i dont have the shift light, i have the more important alloy bonnet (a must have, immensly light!)
