I need to change my steering rack, but not sure if all 172 racks are the same, is there a difference between PH1 & PH2? Or are they all just SMI racks and interchangeable?

Hankook S1 EVO K107 are pretty good, i've just put 2 on the front after my RS3's turned to slicks, quite cheap and they grip really well.

Rainsport 3's don't last very long, I had a new set less than 6 months ago and I just had to replace the fronts because they were below 1.6mm, I keep an eye on my tread depth but these wore away to near bald alarmingly quick, anything other than piss wet conditions and they fall apart, still...
