The gearbox of doom is on it's way back. According to the guy it had been bodged previously. Stephen Brear in leeds is the guy I used - seems like a very knowledgable guy and turned it round quickly. Fingers crossed!

I'm just confirming I can take some time off work on the day but I'm up for it.

Good lad. I think javelin own that day so doubt blyton would offer a discount but worth a shot. In my experience getting money out of yorks members is like getting blood from a stone. I think we'd be better just paying the £129 through javelin and see what happens.

Had a closer look at the shell on this tonight and it's pretty solid so maybe a case of swapping the engine and box and selling it on.
