you need to remove the wheel, and the whole shock absorber to check/replace the rubbers Maz.

When i turn to the right there's a knocking/banging noise from the N/S wheel. it does it when moving and when stationary.
ive just replaced the shocks, springs and top mounts...
any suggestions?
some eibach sportline springs will give you approx -20mm on the cup suspension, and tighten up the handling a wee bit.
they're around £130... and the only option if you want a drop without compromising handling.
Maz, you can get a whole top mount kit which is worth getting. Comes with a new bearing, rubber mount, rubber top cap and bolt. They're £63 inc vat.
Ive just bought 1 for each side... replaced them only to find out the old ones weren't actually worn. So its worth checking your old ones...
