TBH if yours are anything like mine, i was slightly confused (for about 2 seconds) the old cups had corroded "into" the manifold so it wasn't obvious that they came out.
In fact one of them was so stuck in i left it as it was :o

If the cambelt thing was genuine question it's cos it's 5 years old. I test drove a 51 plate 172 with 11k on 2 years ago. Can't believe people don't drive the cars.
If it's not turning over, when you turn the key nothing at all will be happening.
Turning over is the starter motor "turning over" the engine before it starts and can run of it's own accord (this is when you ler go of the ignition key when starting the car)
don't see how fuel injection or spark plugs would stop it from turning over, they'd stop it from starting, but only thing that turns it over is the starter motor.
