Having numbers on the side of your car =/= competing in motorsport. Although slightly bent if not.
Blank roundels look good, certainly reminds me of a lot of racers, without pretending too hard to be one. However as stated they will get tatty.
Absolutely, there's nothing wrong with Simcade.
Some people will have never played more accurate sims, some people want eye candy, some people just want a game that they can pick up and play, which you can't really do with a hardcore sim unless you leave everything set up all the time.
No worries. They've been known to make some very optimistic power claims too - 'Your new cams are fitted sir, we rollered it at 200bhp' and when you go and stick it on a different dyno it's only 180-190.
It's not too bad. There's 4 bolts, the two door side ones are hidden behind grommets and the inner two are behind the exhaust heatshield IIRC.
Just make sure everything's unplugged under the seat when you lift it out.
It's all about 'artificially increasing the cost of the claim' - ie having a hire car paid for when you can afford one yourself, or having a hire car when you still have a 2nd car.
Obviously they don't mind inflating the cost themselves if it suits them, but they're very eager to make sure they...
Never!
At worst, get a 2nd hand door, get it sprayed. Bingo, car is repaired without any CAT markers on it or loss of resale value.
Elephant is a f**king terrible company though so expect a nightmare.
