Re: South East Convoy CSS
If you're coming up the a21, you could meet us at Thurrock? It probably is a little quicker for you to go the other way around though, so maybe meet the south central lot? Fletcher etc?
Scrooge, as long as we sit around 80 jammy dodgers or so I'm fine.
lrj, if its ok with you, I'll remove this and make it just one thread?
I've added your meeting point and time to my thread, if you want me to add anything else let me know in here and I'll do it before removing this.
Re: South East Convoy CSS
Excellent.
So everyone's ok with all meeting points so far etc?
As said, we can add more if needs be.
I need to ask in here, what "sweets" are people happy with? As 70 jellybeans the entire way may make me want to kill myself.
List so far:
Blendon Petrol Station...
Re: South East Convoy CSS
We can go anticlockwise if it makes people happy?
It's just that (IMO) as someone who drives the m25, A LOT, clockwise is quicker.
If anticlockwise suits people better, then I'll be doing the following:
7.30 a.m LEAVE Blendon Shell petrol station for any...
First thing's first, get petrol before you arrive to any of the meet's, we're not sitting watching you fill up whilst we wait
I know there's already a thread but they may be taking a different route, and I'd like an idea of who's even coming out of what I'd consider "My lot" i.e those that...
It may have f1's on it, but it will have spacers, 100%.
I need to have it detailed at some point soon, but I just don't want to spend the £££
Freezer beers? There were none left in the freezer by me!!!!
Renault kangoo 1.9D mount Russ, (for top engine) it's a lot cheaper (I got mine from a local motor factors) but be careful, there are a few different top engine mounts out there for the kangoo.
If it has lost all pressure, it will not click on.
I believe the system has a pressure cut off valve or similar in it.
Best bet is to take it to kwik fit and have it compression tested, they'll then bung a dye through it to see where the leak is (if there is one)
It's more than likely in the...
Cheers mate, I've not been very good with documenting what I've done to it TBH, but it's better than nothing.
The wheels will go standard when I kill the tyres or get bored! I just like changing things I think ;)
If you're going to pay someone to do it, it's not cheap.
The best part of £750
Standard valeo clutch is fine.
Rentech in portsmouth (traders on here) were doing a very good deal though, worth looking into, around 450 I believe.
So, I got a little bored tonight and made a list of everything I've changed so far, like a new car underneath!
Since I've bought it, I've done the following:
Alpine headunit and uprated speakers
Fitted foglights
V6 Airbox
New balljoints
New standard top mounts
Fitted and then removed a ph2...
Loads of places sell the uprated powerflex bushes to go in the mount, just google it.
The pig is taking your one off, and removing the existing bushes.
The standard mounts are quite good on the clio TBH, the dogbone being the weak link, which is why it's upgraded.
I'm not sure how handy you are, but if the answer is at least "quite", then doing the dogbone is ok.
It's just getting the old bushes out that's a bit of a pain.
