Yeah but you did get 10 more bhp than a 172 Cup so the extra lard's not so noticeable ;)
Those 182 buyers were had hook, line, and sinker by Renault, more weight, bugger all else LOL
If you're going to do some harm it'll most likely be BIG, so the £750 excess isn't too bad...even a gentle trip into the gravel could cause that much damage.
PFs are good but too messy.
Blues are solid but boring, no bite from cold.
CLs let you (and everyone else) know they're working.
Can't comment on any others, but for track use alone out of the above, CLs for me every time.
But the point of fog-lights as has been pointed out is that they throw out a wide and very short spread of light to be used in extreme conditions and at low speed.
Unless you drive everywhere down these country lanes at less than 20mph, the extra light gained from fog lights gives you no...
I don't get all this enormous front speaker malarky tbh.
Mine measure about 200mm top to bottom, are tucked away and have no problem whatsoever filling to an adequate standard a 20ft x 17ft lounge.
Or am I really missing something? Big is the way forwards?
Exactly. At least it's declared and you'd stand a chance then.
I told mine that my ECU swap was to eliminate an annoying running fault/hiccup, and that it swelled the torque curve but gave no overall maximum power gain.
No charge.
Calm down!!!
We're just pointing out that;
a) you have a good genuine ATW figure
b) in reality that's probably putting your flywheel power in the mid-to-late 170s.
LOL at insurance companies not checking things like this!
Insurance companies are in trouble, share prices have plummeted, and most have pension problems.
Do you really think that they won't do 2 hrs work checking this to invalidate your insurance and avoid paying out on a £10k claim?
Mine never has, before or after I stripped it...although when I put the louder exhaust on I started to get something somewhere slightly buzzing.
If they all stayed standard they'd probably not rattle, but harder suspension, resonance from a louder exhaust and massive f*** off subs will all...
172 Cups...
They last forever if you're sympathetic with them (smooth inputs, heel/toe changes etc.).
Engines are strong and have plenty of grunt as standard.
Suspension as standard is well up to regular and hard track use.
Brakes are the only thing I'd say are an essential upgrade, but...
LOL at the swear filter putting 'babbage' in instead of ( until!
I got the 4x40 headunit from a member on here as so many upgrade.
Paid £20 for one, then sold my old 4x22 for £35 on eBay.
Winner.
They are pish, and you will see an improvement from upgrading from a 4x22 headunit to a 4x40 one leaving the existing speakers in place.
I did that about 100k miles ago...never looked back, so much better (until I ripped the whole thing out that is).
I changed back to toyo T1-Rs a week ago after the last 5 months on A048s.
It's softened it slightly and that's a relief tbh. In this recent cold weather, for the first 10-15 minutes the A048s were really harsh until you got some heat into the sidewalls. Well, that's what it felt like, and the...
It's all about the torque - that's ultimately what accelerates/pushes the car along, and you have none above 6,500 rpm...and masses from 4,500 up to 6,500...
^^^ from 6,500 EVERYTHING is going downhill, and from 7,000 look at how little torque there is...less than at any other point in the...
I cheated a little.
The Cup run only shows from when the speedo needle starts moving to when it hits exactly 100mph on the clocks.
So it's actually showing from 10 to 97mph
How much benefit is gained from the PTFE gaskets do you think? On track when running hard and hot, doesn't the radiated heat get the inlet temps. up anyway?
