Re: Project Ph-OneSevenTwo - Phase 2 Dash Much?
Just one teaser pic of the latest development.
I was supposed to have a whole host of tasty pictures and some more changes today, but the weather stopped play.
Something good being picked up next week, big update then. ;)
Best plate you'll ever get that is!
Car looks mint, photos are shite, you looky sleepy as f**k.
I'm not sure if I like this term you've coined or not? ;)
FLOL, I've just the date on this, I thought it was much later in the summer too.
On that basis, I'm oot.
That day I'm a) picking up something for my car and b) going to a BBQ for my Nan's 70th brithday in Luton.
Sorry :(
Great work mate, fancy sorting me out with the old ones? I wouldn't mind giving them a go.
As for the knocking, when is it? I'm going to suggest balljoints?
Oh and a question: what spacers are you running? Ta.
Cake does look good, but I must admit, does resemble that Nissan, LOL!
I'm going to get my mrs to make me one for my bday. She makes all these cakes and I've never got one :(
FFS, I'm fully aware they're standard, but for the look you're going for, I'd be 99% sure you're going to fit non standard wheels? Correct?
My point was just - why not raise it up a bit whilst it's on the standard wheels? I can sort of understand undriveable when it looks awesome, buy why...
Hi,
Have any of you track nuts got a picture of the inside of a Mk2 with no dashboard in at all??
Preferably a half decent shot from one of the doors perspective, but post up what you've got. :)
I know what the wheel is, I just meant the re-trim looks very original, as in like it could be a brand new wheel straight from Renault.
A very good job indeed.
FLOL.
This is simples.

Get into the thread, "66k breaking ph2 172" by Tunst. (or use Cliospares or similar)
Buy his aircon condenser in there for about £30, take the front bumper off, undo a couple of 10/13 mm bolts, fit the new...
They don't come in 15 iirc, which is a shame.
Nice wheels though, will look a lot better lowered. (See if there's anyone in the local area that's willing to help, you'll be surprised)
That steering wheel looks VERY OEM. I like it, a lot.
I'd never met you but made an educated guess.. ;)
TBH Dan I didn't look that different, you must have been tired! (Oh, and I'm kind of a big deal)
I was awful in the morning, about 6 people said hello to me and I had to ask who they were! (This was 90% hangover though)
