With a car of that mialge I'd say its a badly alligned gearbox selection. Could be syncros though but unlikly at that age.

No need for Hydo Fred uses custom Fk coilovers. I think he/Yozzasport sell the lower rear springs you need. The front springs are just normal 2.25 springs so you'd just need to find what spec Fred runs (ie size and lb rates) and Demon Tweeks etc will sell you them for £50 or so off the shelf.

Welcome to Renault fun and chalenges the hubs sizes changed very often both going up and down the scale. The calipers changed a few times as well. The calipers aren't that bad though.

Are you using a Mk1 or Mk2 172 setup CUp or none Cup car as that makes a difference. Are you keeping the normal PAS? Seems a cheap price I'd drop j3ned a message though he will sell you all the bits and little pieces you need as one kit for £1.5k + VAT. All the little other things can add up...

I've got the same sort of problem but I think mine are down to the bleed nipples being broken. I'd try bleeding the sytem of air with some new fluid.

£50 I think but you can get them for £40 from somewhere I'm sure. Best idea to go to DS2500 pads better fluid. Braided hoses will help though.
