105bd I think but I may be wrong it got complained about on many tracks.
Not sure on MOT the cars not had one since its revamp i don't think.
Its road legal thoguh yes.
The sensor is itself quite accurate its the wiring which can let it down with it coming loose etc. The below resistances are what the sensor electrically resists at different temperatures.
Between 0 and 5 degree between 5400 and 6200 Ohms
Between 6 and 10 degree between 4400...
What time is the track time? Jut I'm booked and paid on at 2 till 3 with another club. Would i be allowed to do one time after another? Are we allowed to leave cars/trailers there the night before? Just its a pain trying to find somwhere to park a car and trailer.
Thanks.
You cna get second hand ones for under £10 if you look around.
After next year there will be more on the market as the official lio CUp race chnapionship ends.
The standard cars don't have any carebonfiber or agjustable pedals etc thats what will have increased the price.
Check your drivesahft shaft. Get hold of it at one end end see if theres any play in it if not check the toher end. The rubber gaiters can crack the grease leaks out and they wear away.
Just because one shaft is broken the other could be fine.
As regards the height has the car possibly ever...
When is warm give it death. You have to put some hard load on the engine from new otherwise the pistons rings won't bed in properly. You've only about 25 miles to do this.
They do get faster and more free reving with age. Yozzas example with 80k was one of the quickers around I think.
Do a search for a post I started on the subject it tells you want resisters to stick in the wiring to stop this happending and make the rest of the airbgas work.
If you buy in bulk you could get them as cheap as £13k (ex vat) although I'm not sure if they have the euro spec box or the Uk one but you do have to buy in a decinet bulk for the saving.
People claim £100k when they buy the other bits/repair bills etc. 10 sets of wheels plus new engines etc...
They should check everything realy its not a difficult job they just need to take a few mesurments.
Personally I'd take it to any back streey garage you'll usually get a better service I think I pay £35 a time and whilst they should charge you for adjustment they just spend half an hour trying...
Get whoever does the brakes to show you how to do it them you'll save yourself the money from then on. All disk brakes are the same realy so you can use the skill (if you can call it that) any any future car.
Not much you can realy do wrong.
Yep two differet tyres of rear drums both look different. Best idea is to strip them down check them and take them to Renault so you get the right one. One set will be kept in stock (I forget part numbers) the other they'll never have ordered but you can bodge the common set they have to fit...
The switch is screwed. I forget which way it is but the further you unscrew it the quicker it comes on I think. You need to fiddle with it and you'll work out the correct setting.
I wrote a large post recinelty it might be stickied on a page of the forum that tellls you all about the alarm beeps and meaning etc and how to fix them.
If its a warently issue they have to supply you with a courtesy car (if you want one). If they don't have a car availiable they have to get one its not your problem its the dealers issue to find one. Its in your service manual or something stating just that.
Depends what yiou want more look more proper stopping power? How much you looking to spend?
Personally I'm happy with stock disks and Halford Ferodo (ie standard) £17 pads. I've yet to have any trouble and there cheap.
If you want somehting a bit better get ds2500 pads and stock disks.
If you...
RR arn't that accurate realy with calaulating power but Freds car was dynoed at88hp which was the most powerful 1.2 I think on the site a few more people had 82 or there about with exhaust and IK.
Freds car just had a load of miles on it and an exhaust cat was still in place and an induction kit.
Depends what you want the Cup/172's/182's etc are quicker track cars with more space, more usable, less attention seeking higher so less potential damage also better handling on the limit and cheaper on tyres and fuel. However for all its weeknessess its still a great car you have to put up with...
j3neds probably your best bet as he has the engines up there as well.
I'm not sure what the problem is though is it just that the plug needs helicoiling out if so any garage can do it realy and replace the plugs etc
Suspension and brakes first depending how bad the standard brakes are for you but I'd go for DS2500 if you need new pads and stock disks. Then if your feeling like spending get some 182 hubs and 182 LEDA coilovers and get it fully setup.
