    Yep. Any VAG diesel will do you fine. Selling the Clio to buy something else will lose you value...keep it but don't spend any money on it, just take everything out of it...you'll have a blast.

    The 1.6 Zetec engine feels slow, but get it spinning and it pulls well enough...the heavy flywheel does kill it a bit though. I'd be very surprised if a 1.2 Clio had the legs on one. I keep meaning to get a 0-100 mph speedo video of mine Focus...I'll try this weekend. Anyone with a 1.2 Clio...

    Anyone? Merlin are clueless about the FRAM no. I got off the paper element it came with, and their site doesn't list a fitment for the Espace V6. I remember seeing a picture on here of someone with one, but can't find it.

    At the southern KK meet tonight I parked up next to a tastefully 'sported' 1.6 16v. First thing I said when I met the owner was how good it looked, had me fooled. What he had done was considered and he had taste. The owner of that one clearly didn't.

    That's almost the exact same spec as mine (Ktec stealth and Rsport Grp N ECU). Mine over several dyno runs has proven itself to be a 'good one' (consistently outperforms others back to back) - and the last dyno run showed 177 bhp. Yours wasn't a Cup to start with, so I reckon you're probably...

    I've a couple of sets of track tyres in 195/50/15 (and 195/55/15 I think)... Can'tr say I've ever 'noticed' anything different of note about any of them. For the cost difference you;'ve got there, 195s all day long.

    Focus on the level of complaints amongst this club, they have to listen eventually if the numbers warrant it...and if they want to see evidence of how bad the problem can get I'd gladly send my wheel to them for their review...

    Service and airbag light is on from removal of the driver's airbag and seatbelt pre-tensioners. Nothing wrong with the engine! Nor do I want there to be which is why I was a little more considered in my use of revs and gear changes than I used to be, hence no gear change light.
