Welcome to the club.
We do have some basic buyers guides on here, but if you post up specific car's you're looking at, I'm sure people will be more than willing to point out things to look out for.
Generally, dependant upon age, the cambelt is the big thing to look out for, every 70k or 5...
No need to use mesh, just butcher a lower grille from a mk2 ph2 sport.
Without it you'll have issues with stones etc I'd imagine.
I really like it though, do it.
Very easy as long as you can find it mate, takes about 10 minutes to change. Basically look down the back of the engine, there's something sticking out of the top of the gearbox.
There's a guide on here if you search the guides section.
No, "Either Night" please.
If you want to stay both, stay both, but either isn't cool.
I'll probably end up putting in some sort of provisional booking for say 20 people on the night before and 30 on the night after.
As I'll probably be doing two booking you can be both, but not either.
Right ladies and gentlemen, I'd like a rough idea of who wants to camp somewhere before/after the event.
I only need rough numbers to allow me to contact local campsites, so if you're considering it, put your name down.
I know that when you'd want to camp may depend upon how far you have...
Not that you need make more posts mate, just become a paying member, as far as I'm aware you can't lift the whole front at once easily.
I've always had lowered Clio's though, so I may be wrong and just never able to get under to it.
Re: 8 Ball Diner Meet!!!
You should 1,000,000% change this Victoria!!!!
The meet over my way should be quality, and it's not that far for any of you lot!
I'm already dragging Rob Danny and Sash. (they just don't know it yet).
We need your car for some nice photos too!
I've got these on mine at the moment, quite hated on here, but I'm quite fond of them. :)
I'd have done this for you if I had photoshop on the MBP. My apologies
15's are 1,000,000% where it's at.
Having owned a clio on 17's, 16's and 15's, I can safely say that the car drives far better on 15's than any other wheel.
I'm no professional, but the car feels much more "chuckable" on the 15's, 16's felt good, but a little more sluggish and less go-kart...
