Great work as ever, I was lucky with my ph1 not being in bad condition paint work wise, but if any of my future cars ever need sorting, I'd love to bring one over to you.

It sounds like the spring is catching on something, and then "twang'ing" back into position? Have you checked the seats and springs to see if there's anything obvious??
