It's just for the baby seats, but it weighs sod all so you won't see any benefit,
the rear carpets weigh more than the isofix bar.
If you really want to shed some weight take the rear seats out,
the seat bases weigh nothing but the bench weighs a bloody tonne!
First time I went it made 151bhp at the wheels,
a year later after Fred had changed the belts, pullies, tensioners,
alternator, coil pack, HT leads and aircon delete,
it made 8bph less, despite feeling exactly the same if not better.
Belts had never been changed as far as I know and Fred said...
I eliminated all other possibilities, fuses good, relay obviously works because one side was fine,
all bulbs worked because I swapped them round, so that just left the physical connection,
if i'm going to one day build a Capri to my liking, i'd best start fixing sh*t myself.
Although I hate...
Discovered one of the rear lights wasn't working either,
turned out to be corroded contacts in the end,
scrubbed them with an old toothbrush and everything works now.
All the symbols are on the back of the fuse box cover,
the dipped fog symbol is for the fronts and the normal fog symbol is for the back,
same as on the dash.
Right, the front fog fuse was broken so i've changed that and now they work,
but there's nothing wrong with the rear fuse, but I swapped it anyway,
the rears still don't work and there's nothing wrong with the bulbs,
is there a separate relay for the fronts and rears, or just one that controls...
Well i'm back to square one of not knowing what the f*ck i'm looking for,
i'll just have to hope I don't end up driving through fog ever again,
I can't replace a relay if I don't know where it is.
Right then Raz, you're going to have to help me out with this,
i'm not fiddling with the thing that controls the entire car,
plus I don't know what i'm meant to buy to fix it.
It got an mot like this, they never mentioned a thing. lol
None of the fog lights work front or back,
the dash light still works but no lights.
I planned on checking the fuses but it's been pissing down all day so haven't had the chance,
although I doubt both fuses will have gone at the same time,
I have read there's a relay for the fogs under the...
Re-screwed the splitter back on and removed the carpet out the back,
the dog had drooled and puked on it so much it had soaked into the underlay which was stinking,
I had no idea the carpet weighed that much, couple of kilos lighter now,
should be 0.00000000000000000001 of a second faster to 60.
Got two bags of it out the back and a sh*t load of sharp sand,
i'll have to clean it before the weekend otherwise the builder's going to kill me
when he comes to finish tidying it up.
That sounds too pikey even for me,
i'm going to clean the wet patch tomorrow and slide a spare slab under the car,
then clean the spare slab when the oil reaches the edges.
I was going to get Fred to fit a new seal kit,
but everyone that's changed theirs has told me it didn't stop the leak.
It's the solenoid mate, mine didn't lock when I first got my car,
£30 from Renault and 5 minutes of your time with a socket set.
Surprised you had to ask tbh.
Just manually lock it by pulling the lever.
Yeah does my head in it's only once a month,
although they have said sometimes it takes them a month to sort one out,
I guess they have got HotRod magazine to run so i'll let them off.
