Better pics to come, I apologise for the s**te photo, it was a "teaser" after all ;)
Front will be spaced 15-20mm each side I hope, (althought the offset is already better than the f1's) the rears are how I want them bar some camber which may then result in a bit more spacing... we'll see...
Have you tried putting pressure on the dash top to see if it goes away? If it does, try tightening the screws along the inside of the windscreen that fix the dash down.
Struck a tasty deal with another member on here, and got these yesterday afternoon...
Out with the old:
In with the new:
(Excuse the iPhone low light picture quality, more pics to follow :) )
I've also got some standard silver o.z f1's arriving on saturday, :o
Opinions?
I'm about to sell some wheels to some one, the wheels recently had a refurb so I let all of the air out, one of the wheels has a "Flush Valve" but I don't have the adapter.
I can't find anywhere that does, or anywhere that sells Flush Valves for that matter.... except online, but I need them...
With hand tools though you often need to get something onto the top of the shock screw, which is either normally a small spanner of a allen key, having the swan neck allows you to access this.
(poverty spec I know)
You sure about that??
I swear my 18/19mm (can't remember which end) fits?
Adam I can go out right now and check what size it is and if it fits? Alternately, you could drive the 15 minutes here and pick it up off me, no problems?? Lazy git!
Ok, so this thread has no real purpose other than blowing my own trumpet if I'm honest...
Basically, I ruined one of my lovely wheels AGES ago due to an idiot on the road, and a week ago I finally decided to do something about it and make an exact replica.
Tonight I finished it, the...
Gaitor is table tied/poppered around the top of the stick, no problems there.
I'd like to see it! No really.
They do.
MAGH on here, ph1 dash, ph2 door cards, perfect fit.
H'exellent.
What spec did you go for?
I'm going to have a thread sort of, maybe, kind of, like this in a couple of weeks.
I need to go test out the difference between the 13" and the 15".
Oh, and is the price you got just a student discount price?
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
I came in here expecting to have to moan since my last visit, but you filled it with pictures and interesting s**t, good work!
Plans sound very good, mk1 dash looks brilliant.
I honestly can't say I agree, I've heard many HU powered speaker set up's sound fine to the "general ear".
If you want to just go for the powered off the HU option mate, I'd be willing to lend you a hand, wouldn't take long at all.
Different colour, different gear gaitor shape, so if you kept the ph1 one, the gear gaitor would be blue.
Plus, if you're going to do it, man up and do it properly.
Fancy a project, Mike?
I'm unsure on the truth to this, but I've heard that running it right up and down all the time isn't always good. If you are going to run it down at all, then fine, run it all the way down, but if you turned it off whilst still on charge, and it was fully charged, when you next turn it on, just...
