    Southend Meet January 22nd 2011

EDIT: Just seen it's in the evening. Which puts me out. I'm having a house warming party... bugger! I assumed being a Saturday it'd be afternoon. :( I'lll still organise everything from my end so that people can make it down together etc, and I'll set up meeting points, I just won't be there to...

    Belt slipping noise?+ More :(

Shouldn't be more than 250. Stop driving it now though, or at least stop making it slip, drive VERY gently. As you'll ruin the flywheel too if you're not careful (I did on my 1.2) In my experience with clutches, big chains, such as Mr. Clutch, are actually often the cheapest.

    Belt slipping noise?+ More :(

I'm quite sure it's clutch by what you've said but obviously without seeing it I've got no way of telling. If you go out, put it in first, and try pull of hard, if you hear a lot of revving, but don't go far and smell a burning smell, then it's 90% the clutch.

LeMans 2011 Team Tour... 'We ride fast, We ride light'... losers assemble.

Ferry is the way forward, flexibility in times, cheaper, more fun, those who throw up, man up! It's always a good crack watching a load of noisy car's bumping up onto the boat too!

Sounds more like the clutch slipping to me.

    Tools required for fitting coilovers

Robert's your mother's brother. Only thing, 11. Tighten top mount up, just nip it tight, do not over tighten. You has a spring compressor to dismantle the existing one?

    Tools required for fitting coilovers

They do 100% not need to be done up tight. If they've been off that recently, I wouldn't even bother with a garage and would do it myself. Just make sure you take those off whilst the car is still on the ground and the full weight is still on that wheel.

    Tools required for fitting coilovers

Buzz gun at a garage, they'll touch it and it'll free up, you could struggle for and hour on each side, but you may not have a problem, being a newer 182.

I'd buy the halfords set and then a big swan neck spanner for the top nut, done. (I think it's 23mm)

How to copy highlighted text on MSN Messenger screen ?

Show's desktop silly Willdot. When you've got a tasty track pad you'll use a mouse again ;)

How to copy highlighted text on MSN Messenger screen ?

What's the point of Ctrl + W willdot? I know it'll close an individual tab as opposed to the whole browser, but so will Ctrl + f4, and then Alt + f4 closes the whole window? So I so no point in Ctrl + W?

How to copy highlighted text on MSN Messenger screen ?

I always find it so hard to believe that someone who has 2k posts on a car forum is a technotard. The mind boggles.

    New passenger door handle required?

So you mean the actual exterior door handle? If so, get in contact with Cliospares on here, ask for one, (will be cheap, it's not a very popular part, and it's pretty small). The handle is held on by two 13mm nuts, and then you have to clip the rod that opens the door out, the reverse puts...
