Who's making the (short) journey and from where?
It'd be nice to setup a few mini convoy's down, and it'd be good to see a decent turnout.
Name, location and rough route please, and we'll try setup something :)

It's not the low pad's themselves that bright the light on, iirc it's the lower level on brake fluid?
Check the fluid level and the pad thickness'
If the pads are low, replace, if it's still flickering, top up the fluid.
I currently have a seriously over priced web browser.... Once I've bought my mini dvi adapter, and sold my pc laptop, it'll become more useful I'm sure...
Which is where? Or do I download it? I can't see anything in the dock/applications...

When the rubber "donught" thing spins, the nut should spin too, they are connected.
Is the nut spinning up and down the thread?
If it is, just whip a socket on it and do it up nip tight. That's how they should be.
Dave, sounds like you did the exact same as me, 1.2 Clio for 4 years, get to 21, 0 NCB, get the 2.0 and put it in my name. £1k, but that's not too bad for a year.
That is ridiculous. Alright it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but unless you were a complete bellend to them, there should have been no more than a telling off.
I'm with mike. Get yourself all the parts from cliospares or similar and live with the light. Oh and keep vigilant in future ;-)
MOT, either tell them it's a common fault and if they're having none of it either tape over or remove the bulb
