My old man smoked like a chimney and my Omega, despite 3 Neutradol fresheners, absolutely stinks. I'm guessing the smells penetrated right into seats/headlining. What options do I have to get rid of it? Thanks Mark

I drove all the way home from Heathrow tonight with my main beam on. Everyone moved over for me and I looked good too. It's the way forward.

It won't affect it that much...it really is built like a tank. You almost need both arms to push the glovebox door back up - I think it probably weighs about 5kgs...just for a glovebox door!

Needs another 850bhp to go like that one. Cone filter, decat, and take the back seats out and I'll be there I reckon.

LOL - it is definitely not rapid! Can't choose the gear at set-off, auto 'box defaults to 1st every time...2nd's good for 90mph! I reckon about 25 seconds to 100 as it's a bit of a bloater - 1624kgs :eek: Can't get used to the 'box, but loving the left-foot braking practice. Done 200 miles...

Mine has always leaked from new. Yesterday, I passed 93,000 miles in it. Don't worry about it other than for the cosmetics.

I'd say £7k for that car is a little high. There always seems to be one or two for sale that are quite a bit cheaper than that if you're prepared to accept a slightly higher mileage.

Easter (or whenever around that time someone organises something). I hope there's room for me somewhere comfy and cheap LOL

Could be due to the power steering, the PAS on all 172/182/V6 Renaultsport Clios is hydraulic...on non-sport Clios it's electric.

That looks like you're running 5-10 psi too little. How are you checking the pressures? Guage attached to a foot-pump or garage air compressor?

Get a small screw, and screw it into the end of the rubber vacuum pipe. That's all you need to do with it.

Taking mine off has made no noticable difference to either performance or sound. But it has removed weight, and weight is the enemy of performance and economy...so it is worth it.

Ooh - that's not bad. Straight swap for a lovely V6 Vauxhall? It's got an auto box - you wouldn't have to worry about that clutch then.
