    Japan's Retro Car Kings

Just watched all of that really enjoyed it, great way to kill 40 minutes, the Porsche guy's a nutter, just hacking them apart with a saw and bolting on wider arches. lol Classic Skylines were incredible.

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

My Capri obsession continues. I know it was meant to be the UKs version of the Mustang but I never bought into that, however this one looks the closest to it i've seen, well at least from the back. This is my current desktop wallpaper.

Ok I admit it, some cars need to have that just detailed look all the time, or it's just a sin, that is an exceptional car!!!

    Matching Green Car Show 2013

I'm really starting to like these. It's odd, I see stuff like E-Types all the time, i've even seen a DB5 on the road, but I haven't seen a Lotus Carlton in person since the mid 90s, they're just so rare!

    Air filter options and opinions

I don't use a pipe, sorry i've got no pics of it. If you look at the grill, there's a vent on the right that channels air straight onto the opening of where the V6 will sit.

    Air filter options and opinions

Not really, I could have just been my car tbh, i've had loads of services, engine work and extra mods done since then, so if I went from a standard airbox to a V6 now, it'd probably react differently. For £40 quid you can't go wrong mate, if you decide it isn't the set up for you, you'll...

    Air filter options and opinions

That's what i've got on mine, makes a hell of a good noise but not much else, I found the car lost a bit of grunt lower down, but gained a bit higher up, if you can get the box and filter cheap then fair enough. You may also want to research K-Tec's IK, alot of blokes have made their own...

I'm about to throw the car battery through the windscreen!

I had this with a flat battery, you'll just have to put the new one on, close the bonnet and doors, then press the keyfob to reset the alarm, you and your neighbours will just have to put up with the alarm going off for a few minutes.

    Mk2 Escort Estate £3k

Which is why when I get a classic Ford i'll just stay on here, plenty of knowledgeable people on CS to help me out with parts and spannering. Screw having to start all over again on another forum, especially ones full of pikey thieves.

    Mk2 Escort Estate £3k

Well if that's the real price it pisses on any Cortina or Capri I was planning on as a project car, not that I have £3k atm, but that won't last forever. I might keep my eye out for one of those when the time comes.

    Mk2 Escort Estate £3k

Is it me or does that seem far too cheap? http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C402024 I know it says sills need welding but even so, they go for way more money that that normally.

    Your Favourite Clio Mod

Not a clue mate, i've got one of the original RSTuners where all the maps were free after you bought the unit, over run map or pops and bangs hadn't been written yet, plus mine unit support those files. I just got an RST and cal file I was happy with and stuck with it, the car's been that way...

    Your Favourite Clio Mod

RSTuner 98ron map, no other mod has improved the car as much as this, it solved so many of it's problems, smoother running, better cold starts, more grunt lower down. Although atm i'm currently enjoying my lowered drivers seat, plastic things binned, carpet cut away so it sits on bare metal...

Yep, back in the 80s as a kid, if you fell out the car in the event of a crash, it was your own stupid fault. lol Kids were tough back then, if you really were injured someone might dab a bit of TCP on you if you were lucky.
