Okay, just had the front off and its fine...
been for a drive and decided the noise is actually coming from the rear, which had new shockers fitted a few days ago.
must be these im thinking.
the thing is, i know it was on the A34 somewhere southbound... about 10 miles from the M3 turnoff... but thats all i know. Little service place with a Thieving Chef and burger king. Heh.
had a small slip road so had to break hard and BANG!
any other ideas?
i'll get the tracking done and the camber checked to be on the safe side... but its the rubbing noise when turning right im not liking much :(
On saturday i was on a motorway, and pulled onto a slip road for a service station. Clearly i was breaking hard to slow down, and in the process hit a f**king big pot hole (front left wheel) under braking.
It was big enough for me to lose control, but i pulled over to check damage. Apart from...
nah mate, wont attract wront attention at all... mine is blatently spaced illegally and ive never heard anything from the police. even when they've been behind me in traffic :)
