funnily enough, the exact same "accidents" happened in the show on friday. i wondered if they were staged.
i bet clarkson made a song and dance about thinking it was a curtain he drove into in the 350z when actually it was a wall?
even if it was all staged, it was still thoroughly enjoyable :D
in a small engined car, keeping it below 2000 revs... 47mpg isnt special tbh.
i've driven 800 miles this weekend in my 172 and averaged 44mpg @ 80mph with Optimax :)
what car were you in?
Ive done 800 miles so far this weekend in my Mk1 172 so i guess it could have been me. Apart from i dont know local names like Whinchmore Hill.
The Oil Temp gauge in my RS-1 is quite erratic. It usually sits at 1/2 way where it should be, but on long motorway journeys, it flies around the bottom half of the dial.
It never goes above the 1/2 way mark, and ive recently had a service so the level isnt low etc.
anyone got any ideas?
At 11am today heading North just before Newbury, went tanking it past me. Think i saw a CS sticker in the side window but you were going sooo fast i couldnt really have a good look.
I was in the Silver Mk1 172 that nearly pulled out in front of you, before i realised how fast you were going...
The arena show lasted an hour and a half, plus with all the cars there to see/sit/play/break, i thought it was good value for money.
The arena show was awsome imo.
wouldnt hesitate going back next year. :)
I'll post this picture here so the thread is Clio related and doesn't get moved :) Trophy was Number 4.
