Ive only just got round to washing the car. Ive not even managed to get the old sticker off.
The stickers were quite expensive something like 4 euros for a sticker if I remember.
I use the same garage.
However I only use them because there cheap there completly useless for everything else from my experiance. Id never use them for anything beyond services.

ARe you on about the 172/182 bit of extra throttle where it clicks as such?
If so then you dont get any more power the clicy bit is to disengage the crusie etc nothing to do with power.
You can only use your NCB once oon one policy.

There 172 is a Mk1 worth say £5k.
There turbo kit is £6k.

As for handling I wasnt that impressed the ones Ive driven (stock demo cars) roll to much and have less potential than my dci had and feeback is so differnet (not in a possitive way). Coilovers are essential.
How about going for an auto box from a megan or laguna?
There a few auto boxes they use which mate upto the f4r engine in those cars (the 172/182 engines are f4r derivatives so they should mate up).

Just ring your insurer up though some will be OK some will refuser.
Not having an airbags no big issue realy.
There are a few options.
1) Remap the stock ECU. The company bb use fastchips (www.fastchip.nl I think) worked out how to do this.
2) Aftermrket completel new ECu you could specify a higher quality mapping and other bits like water injection and anti lag if you want plus more tunners know how...
They dont need and wont go for a turbo for the next one.
Renault always have so much potential in there cars if only they could sort out a few things theyd lead the say in terms of sales. Then agin why should they bother there doing Ok of the poorly built new cars anyway.
The price for kits depends normal springs and dampers (the minimum I would recomend) is about £300 then fitment which is between £40 and £90.

The 172 engine will fit j3ned sells the engine gearbox suspension and brakes all the bits you need for £1.5k+ vat
As for bigger engines well the V6 3.0 is a bit big but if your feeling adventurous. The VAG 1.8T (take to j3ned) or Megan/Velsatis/Laguna 2.0 turbo is another option.

Nope once an airbag has been activated you need a new airbag computer which are £300~£50 depending on differetn things.
Plus then you need Renault to rest the computers etc.
The 182 head unit is the same as all normal Clio head units the speakers are 44 instead of 25 whats or whatver and made by Casabania which is the reason for the label on the front of it.
Its a decient enough stereo IMO.
