I do hope you're joking Steve!? That's my bloody wheel in your garage!!! Cheeky sod :-P
I was going to go OEM, but after driving around with the aftermarket one and getting back in a normal Clio, the wheel felt pants!
Re: The 'TeamAriane' clio... Ghetto goodness.
You gave him a camel, didn't you...
LOL!
Keep the silver, until it gets mullered from track, then wrap it.
I'm sure Fred'll work his magic, I wish he was closer to me tbh!
Re: The 'TeamAriane' clio... Ghetto goodness.
I look forward to reading this, and your comment about titanium's shiney-ness is ever so true.
Sounds like it needs a fair bit of work, but I assume you got it for a fine price. ;)
Oh and ph2 rear end, good shout!!!
Suede does my head it, bloody stuff!!!
I think it's looking like it'll be the Trecento! Don't want to be paying for full leather though, replica suits me fine!
Ok, so at current I've got an OMP, suede, dished wheel, and I don't like how it is wearing away and I'm not overly keen on the dish....
I've narrowed it down to one of two wheels....
The OMP GP:
and
The OMP Trecento
The GP is a bit cheaper but nothing radical.
Now the differences:

My passenger door can no longer be opened from the outside, unless it is first opened from the inside (to disarm the lock).
Danny (off here) and I ,took the doorcard off to have a look at the weekend, but got nowhere, everything seemed normal as far as we could tell?
Now I was going to get a...
Can you open it from the inside?
I can open my door from the inside (to unlock it) then I can use the door as normal, however when the door's are locked again, by the key, or the RAID system, the door needs to be opened from the inside again.
I took the door apart at the weekend with a member...
If they're that far in mate, go for it, it'll only bring the track out to a "good" width I suppose, plus they're not exactly bank breaking so if you're not happy you can always sell on :)
Where's the for sale thread's donkey dick?
Edit: Found it, lol!
What did you do about the stickers etc??? Get some pics up! (I'm interested to see how boring it looks)
Ph2 winner winner chicken dinner :D
Oh and duck, someone told me the sport bumper is actually slightly different, designed to be CC'd and apparently ever so slightly wider cut? Could be BS though?
You mean the speedo sensor Steve? I've only ever had one go in all the time I've owned a Clio, and that wasn't an RS, it's a damn easy change, but for so many to go there may be something else at fault?
The ph1 is a more raw car, it just depends what you want?
Oh and bear in mind the ph1 is coming up for or should have had its second belt change already.
If I were you I'd.... Colour code front and back strips, get some ph2 side strips and have them colour coded, they make the car look a lot more modern. (Will has some for sale atm), then do the mirrors, not the plates on the car just the mirrors.. Then get some fogs.
Will make the car look so...
I've just sent this to a mate, we fancy a bit of a road trip, plus if we get "there" and it doesn't make it back, no biggy. Although we are worried about the donkey smell!
Awesome work on the wheel polishing, sounds easy if you know what you're doing ;)
I'll watch some YT video's or something, and I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
When/If you become a member, I've created a guide (which is in the guides section) featuring exterior styling differences between the Mk2 Renault Sport Clio, there's also one hell of a lot of guides in general in there tbh.
But a basic break down:
Mk2 Ph1 172 (also known as ph-quick) Features...
