All you need is the dust retention spray, it cost a fiver.
Wash the filter in fairy liquid, dry it out, spray on the sh*t, stick it back in the airbox......done.
It would take me weeks to learn that routine even if I knew how to drive like that.
The thing that gets me is they show up not knowing it, get given an incomprehensible diagram of the routine,
then they have to do it in competition.
I haven't memorised my new mobile number yet
and i've had the...
I know you're recreating a bit of your childhood/youth, so I know you'll be keeping it standard.
Going by the attention to detail the Valver had,
i've no doubt you'll have it looking better then when it rolled off the production line.
I tried looking for a nice picture of an Orion, maybe nicely lowered with some decent alloys.
This is the closest I got to one that looked good, it's had an RS1800i conversion,
if you could get yours looking like this one, I may change my mind about them being sh*t heaps. lol...
Unfortunately not, but if you're lucky you'll get the bloke that's had loads of Renaults,
i've chatted loads to him about 1*2s, R5s, and F4Rd Valvers an Megane coupe's, as he's owned them all.

I'm running the 98Ron map, have been for years, if I run my car on 95 it runs like utter sh*t.
Maybe put the OEM map back on for a day, then go back to your 98Ron RST & Cal files,
I did this as I was so use to the...

If only I could figure out my starting problems,
it's obviously the starter motor and i've read that cleaning the spade connector can fix the exact problem i've got,
I just have no clue what it looks like or how i'd get to it.
What are you honestly going to do with an Orion once you've restored it?
Seeing as your misses has a decent car and you've only got the flat bed,
are you going to use it as a daily?
If after a close inspection it's in a bad state just sell it on, hopefully you'll get your money back,
then put that money into the next one.
Personally I don't know what you see in them, i've always seen them as a sh*t version of an Escort,
but then again i've had quite attractive girlfriends...
