Go over all the wiring again to make sure that the dvd player isn't on a permanent live. If it is, make it a switched live. Put the battery on charge, then try it. It was probably too flat to jump start it (it does happen)

If you considering changing the wheels, a set of normal 172 ones (16") would look nice on it.

As above really, most folk just buy a rebuilt one. £200 for the one on ebay sounds good, I assume it's a rebuilt one ? As a new one would be a lot more.

I ran F1's (not on a clio though) they were on FWD turbo'd car, they were totally ace, lasted ages too, way longer than 4k.

I'd hpi it up too, it always gets me wondeing when cars 'look too clean' The mesh grille is awful, it could be that the seller liked it, or scrimped on a repair (if it has had one) It may of course just be a really nice loved car.

Basically it's a cat D car.
