Yes totally reliable apart from : exhaust rotting off, gearbox exploding, steering rack going wrong, boot lock needing to be replaced, dampers leaking, intermittent starting issues, steering wheel melting, abs sensor going wrong, exhaust mounts constantly needing replacing, sump gasket...

The for sale section's usually full of them. Pay your £12 quid membership and you can buy what you want from it.

That's another £100quid on the bill then. But it's best to change the clutch when you swap boxes, especially if it's an old one.

What Don said, sometimes mine does it when I press the button, most of the time it's down to me pressing it like a pansy, but when it started doing it loads, I switched to using my spare key and it doesn't do it any more. Tbh I could just change the battery in the other one, but i'm lazy. :D

Does it free wheel with the clutch in? When mine shat itself and was stuck in two gears the clutch still worked, so when the recovery truck came, I sat in it so it could be towed onto the flatbed.
