Hi there, can you help me with a radio code. My father in law has just bought a Clio with and no sign of a radio code, please can you help me get in his good books!
There are 2 options you can buy. One with the iPod connector which means you can use the radio stalks to control the iPod and the other being a simple headphone cable that only plays the sound.
Better photo than mine! Should be plug and play...remember that the connects2 will only switch through the 1st 6 playlists if the iPod/iPhone is connected directly (you can think of each playlist being a different CD in the changer). Let us know how you get on.
I note from your earlier post you have a "tuner list", what you have described does sound correct. As knuckles has said above, would suggest testing with old iPod/iPhone.
Remember you need some radio removal tools to get the radio out...or a few very thin screw drivers.
As suggested by Don, it's really easy to run into the glovebox, there is a hole in the top of the box already for you to run the cable through.
You can use the iPod connects2 and use a plugin Bluetooth adapter. I do this in mine and it works fine....albeit the stalks don't work then or just plug in the iPod directly and the stalks can then be used.
...which having read above is what @Knuckles said!
I meant I get the 7.29am train and am back into Maidenhead at 7.30pm and did not want to presume that you would be available before or after these times. You are in work early! I can meet at 7am at your place of work if this isn't too inconvenient?
@Typhoon @car.crash many thanks for the offers. Typhoon, where abouts in Berkshire are you if you don't mind me asking, (I get the train from Maidenhead) and car.crash, I live very near J4 of the M40, if Typhoon is close to Maidenhead, it would be easier for me as it's on my daily commute but...
From my knowledge of iPads and what I've been advised by others who have children and android tablets, it may be sensible to go for an android tablet as you can enable proper parental locks on it (stop access to the internet/emails/App Store etc)...and they are a lot cheaper as the don't have...
Right, looked at the car...always the best way! It's not the SERV light, it's the EML light so something has gone awry.
The car does have an OBD port, will an ebay OBD reader work or will I be better using a RSTuner or CLIP? I can borrow an OBD reader but would need to borrow an RSTuner or...
Hello CS, first port of call when help is needed...
My neighbour has a Y reg 1.2 ph.1 (has owned for years) and the serv light is on. It's just been serviced and they want to understand what error codes are being thrown up. I have read that most OBD readers don't work particularly well with...
Something is certainly blocking the flow as the fan is still working. I usually have the fan blowing on the windscreen if this helps? When it's happened I've pressed every button to see if it makes a difference but to no avail. I've even turned the car off and back in again (when safe to do so)...
Thanks @GrahamS I tried this last night and all parts moved ok. Any other ideas as to why air stops coming out and yet the fan still be work, having presses no buttons?! Anybody else got any ideas?
