Whaaaaaat??? There should be two direct wires from the motor to the switch, well in my experience anyways, unless you have the one touch drivers window???
lol ok, I had looked up fixies at some earlier point just to see what they were!
I've got a friend sorting me out with a 40 year old racer, just needs some new tyres, a whole new level of cool on the way to work :D!
Slightly larger internally IIRC? It also has one large feed at the bottom rather than two of the Ph1 box.
After back to back testing JMS found the v6 box to give better results than the ph1 one.
I think it's something to do with certin major Clio companies wanting to supply them, so they've stopped...
Oh and whats up with the "failsport" Dave? What I miss?
You've done a cracking job with this so far, lowering it will make a serious difference.
Although (not to be a killjoy) aren't you going to struggle with insurance at 17 with all the mods?
Quite suprised people have put this down to the driver, went against my friends GTi a month or so ago, neither of us are Schumacker and both have been driving about the same amount of time.... From standing he couldn't beat me, even on countless runs, unless there was something up with the GTi...
Meg, are you sure this is a good idea?
You crash the f**king thing enough as it is, so god knows what'll happen when they reduce your vision even further with black tint.
Mike, go for it ;)
Yeah mate, lots of threads from me, if I were there I could fix it, but its very difficult to diagnose without being able to see it....
The switches only differ in some very old models, hmmmm, easiest thing to check so I can advise you better... what colour wires go from the switch to the...
Thats the plan, I'm glad someone else has my "vision" lol!
I just need to know its not a total sh*tter first, i.e was it once a good bike?
The guy is 10 minutes away and has said I can have it for £30, I'll knock him to £25 with ease. I reckon put about 40 quid into it, and maybe a new seat...

If I could get this bike for £25 would it be worth it?
New set of tyres, bit of tidying up, done? Or is it worth sod all?
P.s I have NO idea.. lol!
Look at this thread:

Specifically Adam172's bit about the ICV changing, I'd try this as its a cheap fix and your issue sounds to have the correct symptoms.
And this post (towards the end) to see some pics of what he had to change...
"In" pic not working, also I know somewhere you can get tins of primer (half size of the above) but for only £1! Should have said!
Look forward to seeing the interior matt black, should look awesome!
Silicone spray I tell theee, it's working a treat on mine, I've got a big tin if you want to try it Ad? Makes the throttle feel better/ looser almost instantly.
Bless the Mrs in the passenger seat asleep! Mine's the same if I ever wanna take a pic, but she tries to hide now!
Car looks amazing.

£10.39 mine was.
What are you re-oiling with mate?
I found that taking mine off, wd40'ing it etc, loads of the stuff, it'd be fine for a day/a week/sometimes only an hour or so...
Bought some silicone spray (supposed to pretty much never dry out) and it solved the problem, my issue was the wd40 was getting hot...
I really like most of it, very different, love under the bonnet, that must be one heat proof tiger... ;)
The interior is a touch over-flocked for me, but not a bad effort overall :)
