I love the interior, i'm in the process of pulling bits of my trim off to give them a coat of satin black,
do you have any pics of the door cards, have you had the door handles painted black aswell?
Also how did you get the internal light housing off just pull, or is there a special way of...
More than likely a dirty ABS sensor, my CV gaitor split a few years ago and coated the whole ABS cable on one side,
it knackered it and needed replacing, the ABS unit stores separate fault codes from the ECU,
proper Renault diagnostic software should be able to switch it off.
Or an up to date...
I going to assume their rollers were broken when we were there as mine should be running 222bhp,
well that's the figure I get when I add together all the manufacturers stated gains on top of 172bhp.
That's how it works isn't it? That's how they do it on ebay so it must be right. :clown:
I'm in the process of trying to lift the 172s interior a bit,
i'm spraying bit's of trim satin black and while I was searching for bits and pieces on ebay I found this...
How long have you had the Eibachs on for?
No-one wants to see the filthy dog kennel, it's not a pretty sight. lol
Mines at 5:30 in all it's grubby glory.
The only thing I could think of would be to stick/tape some card or thin metal to the inside of the boot
and fill the holes with silicone sealant in the hope of smoothing it out.
That does look bloody nice Danith.
I hate the fact that the more I see anthracite Turinis on Silver 1*2s, the more I like them.
I have an Iceburg 172, must.....resist......sheep.......;)
Easy, there's a icon called write ecu and & one called write cal, click on them and it does it for you.
Just make sure you copy your OEM map before you do anything, that way it can go back to standard if you wish.
(There's an icon for copy ecu aswell)
It all becomes self explanatory when you...
Satin blacked the fog surrounds and speaker grills, fog surrounds look the same as they did before so not worth showing,
but the speaker grills look amazing, I may have to pull off as much trim as I can and go on a spraying mission.
It's held on with two pins, pain in the arse to get off,
I used a butter knife and some cloth to lever if off, convinced the pins were going to snap at any minute.
I've had mine mapped with the RST for years now, I put it back on the standard OEM map once just to see what it was like.
Put it back to 'normal' after about 3 minutes of driving, felt broken! :dapprove:
After taking off the cost of all the mods it already has i'm prodably left with about 5/600quid,
so a very boring but essential cam/aux belt and dephaser service.
Assuming that the car didn't need it this year it'd be,
whiteline arb, polybushed wishbones & front arb, stiff shift kit, pure...
It varies, between 29 & 50 euros depending on what you buy.

I don't know where the rest of the maps are, I guess Henk emails them to you depending on your VIN.
Yeah you'd have to buy the separate maps, but you could load any map you liked into the ecu every morning.
I once spent a day trying out different maps on one of the many empty DC near my house,
parked up in ECPs car park which was on a DC between two roundabouts,
went though a few variations...
I only have the relay clicking first thing in the morning or when the engines been cold for quite a few hours,
also it only does it every now and again, if I leave the ignition on for 30secs it tends not to do it.
