doh, crap feature anyway. I turned it off straight away in mine. doesn't do the xenons any good as they don't get a chance to warm up before flicking off again
Re: Brought a car then sold the car - How much have you lost?
I paid £1500 for my first 205gti, put 15k miles on it and sold it a year later for £1750
I paid £12,100 for my 182 and sold it for £6750 3.5 years and 40k miles later
I paid £1300 for my current 205gti and will sell it for £2k +
can you get a digital mileage correction done?
If the mileage on the guage is relatively correct I wouldnt worry about telling anyone, if it's drastically under then obviously its going to make people ask questions
I think you'll appreciate the better platform, but don't expect it to be faster, prob about the same pace in reality. More planted big time and far better looking than the trophy. Capsicum red does nothing for me.
I always left it on on the road and never found it very obtrusive in the 182, usually at the head of the bunch too if out with 172 / 182 owners on a meet so never felt the need to turn it off.
When the rear shocks burst (look for signs of oil on the struts) the back end becomes a great laugh bounces about and gets twitchy, I enjoyed it about 5 times in my 182.
