once had a tube on a bike nearly take me out as he was overtaking a lorry in a bend, all I could see was a car behind the lorry with what I thought was full beams on (it was pitch dark and the glare led me to think that's what it was...) turned out it was an idiot passing the lorry on my side...

I turn on my lights if I'm going to be on a country road and overtaking lots which happens frequently - just like motorcycles having loud pipes and lights on makes you more visible. Better safe than sorry

Weird, cause a 182 cup I'd expect to have the same 182 hubs. As edde said the non cup / non cup packed 182 has mk2 172 hubs although the track is still wider than a mk2 172. But how the feck could they screw up a cup with the standard suspension, thats weird.

Went for a blast with Ali and Andy on Sunday: Met up at Ali's admiring the Vee! then headed up to Arrochar and up the Rest and Be Thankful, then back round via Tarbet and up over the fantastic military road then down through Garelochhead. Weather was touch and go, but the sun pulled through!

shouldn't be too expensive at a local independant, I seem to be forever getting cv's re-packed and sealed. Think one of mines gone now too - doh. I'm not sure if the CV is seperate from the driveshaft on the 1.2's? Might be a new driveshaft at £50 - £100 (guestimate)

beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol, I think racing blue is easily the worst 182 colour, or inferno... hence why the poverty spec ones came in these colours only :rasp: Racing blue does look superb in certain light, without stripes is criminal though.

Neil was helpful to me in the past and very willing to give advice. I didnt go with them in the end but that was my choice. In my dealings with several members through group buys etc I know how awkward and unrealistic some people on here are. It's a shame!

they're not grooved no, just standard high carbons. Done it since day 1, will have a look tomorrow when it's on the ramp. Ta

just wondering why mine squeel, they were copper slipped before fitting. Will try some more copper slip tomorrow.
