Just got the letters for the clios. I'm not interested in taking the 182 in as it's always been greased. I am interested in taking the DCI in though as it's new.
What I'm really asking is, will they give me one of those check lists that tells me everything else is wrong to save me the hassle of...
Just to finalise this thread.
As there was no knocking and the car ran fine I was confident the sensor may be busted even though the fault codes showed nothing
I replaced the sensor today which is on the front of the engine, neither of the TWO near the filter. It's the sensor just behind the...
Call me a risk taker but we've just driven 30 miles with the light on all the way. Nothing sounds wrong so I assume the pressure is okay and we would have blown up if it wasn't.
Sensor?
Just check the coolant and there are no oily marks of blobs
Brake fluid level is the same as in my 182 so shouldn't yield any problems. it's around the top of the white lip, pic doesn't show to much.
We drove it yesterday and it kept coming on and off as you described, didn't seem to be a...
Yesterday we bought a clio dci 65 2002. It's in really good condition and runs very sweetly.
When we were driving home after about half an hour the oil pressure light came on, along with the mandatory STOP light. Nothing seemed a miss and it went out before I got the chance to pull over.
I...
I thought it might be the ballast but very unsure. I saw it on an audi recently, behind me, one light went off and then both, then both came back on when he realised and the same happened again and again!
Only noticed this evening. My n/s xenon keeps cutting out. When I turn them off and back on again it comes back on and then shortly goes out again. It's also a slightly different colour (blueereer) than the o/s. Both bulbs were changed for genuine phillips items in December so there are no...
Should be getting mine tomorrow hopefully. Previously tried an apexi on the clio before I bought it. Currently running a k-tec style with a K&N on as below. Was a beast in the top end with fake on due to the design of the top cone.
Going to run 70mm straight off the forge elbow.
Anyone else...
Having taken off my rear arb recently for a little touch up it needs a little more than that. Bolts seized on and all that stuff.
I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get those purple bushes and also a black thread cover like you can see between the bolts. They seem incredibly universal...
Took my metal gauze out yesterday and it's a completely different piece of kit. It dribbled out before and wasn't that think. Now it comes out like I always wanted it to and blasts out.
Hello
Under the terms and conditions of his policy he has to report a claim. This is so they can capture the third party claim and reduce costs by trying to get them into one of their approved garage, prevent credit hire and an inflated claim. If you raise concerns about the damage being caused...
Gooday
I've been given the task of buying the bits to turn my mates PH1 172 into an occasional use track car. I've said we should start by making sure the base car is good so am looking at replacing all the bushes that will have worn over the last 100,000 miles. I'm looking for a list of all...
How long have you owned the car?
Can the MOT's prove your mileage if over what you say, so would they be able to prove you have knowingly gone over you entitlement.
This is strongly aimed at particular insurance companies if you watched the whole thing. Garages which are PAS125 approved have to conform to certain standards and wouldn't "skimp" on repairs. Also under most policies you will be liable for the extra cost of not going to an insurance repair...
