So my trusty 2008 24" iMac packed in is evening. Green pixels appeared on the screen, it froze, tried to reboot and it won't get past the chimes and grey Apple logo. Tried all sorts of resets and fsck but to no avail, a further google suggests that others had issues with the same gpu as me...

Popped into Halfords yesterday after checking stock online for R53 blades, looked on all the boxes in store and they said they were for driver side only. Looking at the wipers on the car at the mo, they look the same. Is it possible to just buy 2 that state driver side only and fit them...
