Well mine is a 182, but mine was 900kg before the cage, i then put 36kg of cage in and have now taken out 40kg of tar, blowers, brackets, dash so my car looks like.
So it now weights around 895kg with the cage + 1 bucket seat + 1 harness + 1 steering wheel :)

Is there anything else you need by law to have inside your car?
I know you need a hazzard lights switch, a way to demist your windscreen and a set of speedo dials.

As above really, what engine mount is this clio running? Engine doesnt move at all and it doesnt have the mount in the usuall place?

Glad its all sorted but shame you've had to fork out another £90ish quid.
With regards to recovery and what not. I'm pretty sure if you have one of the solid bars then it comes under the same catagory as trailoring it. so it doesnt have to be insured taxed...
Its basically at the stage my car was just before i got my cage in, a cage makes a pretty big difference to the cars twisting and i was quite shocked as to how different the car felt with the cage in.
So at some point try get one as it will obviously save you if you roll and make the car feel...
It was driving along the A41 towards Bicester just about to go on that really long bit of road after the little bit of duel carrage way.

Thanks, I havnt done any trackdays since ITB'ing it :( been over 6 months since having the ITB's. They are great but do somtimes think it would be been better if i had spend to £2000 on trackdays and bits rather than the ITB's, but hey-ho.

Not really an update, but i droped my car off at a local body shop this morning to get the inside and cage all sprayed up.
Should have it back in about 1 week they said. Quite excited :)

The guy who didnt pick me up said the policy was void because i had engine modifications too.
But i agree with Foxy completly down to the person who comes to see you. I've had the RAC out before and the guy was so into my car it was difficult to get away...

I think you can get different levels of cover cant you. So maybe look into that. Like cover where you can get picked up anywhere and taken anywhere you like. Just somthing to look into

Sorry to hear about your problems.
The RAC are useless, the wouldnt tow me home becaus they said to was lowered.
I think ADAC can be used in england as a recovery service
