Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Its an RMD wheel from the group buy a month or two back. I was going to get an OMP horn but i've bought a Ph1 172 horn stalk so i'll just use that.
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
I do want the dash flocking but other parts need tidying up before i do that.
I'm in the process of buying the K-tec mounts so they will be good.
I've got a big list of things to do once again:
Spray interiour black
Fit K-tec mounts
Tidy up engine bay a bit...
Hia
I just wanted to know if i can take the main engine mount and the upper gearbox mount off at the same time and leave the engine on some blocks of wood whilst my new engine mounts come.
I'm hopefully doing a swap with standard mounts with the k-tec ones
Thanks
Chris

WHEEL UPDATE:
So after putting my mint standard wheel up for sale and some people wanted it i thought i better get it off the car. So at 8:30 this evening i went out to the car and took the old wheel off and put my now one on.
Here are some pictures i had taken...
Dan will you clio be supercharged by the summer?
The more the merrier for this meet, and your photography skills are amazing so it would be excelent if you could come :)
Yeah like i said in your ast thread. Get some decent brakes + coilovers so you can get the power down better and then when the car gets a bit boring to drive the go for ITB's IMO. The noise is emmence.
Hmmm the white plenum would look good with the red writing but then it would look cool the other wai around.
IMO keep the big bits Naples Red and the little accessorys white.
Oh but the headlining is g*y.
I have a big old felty throw back at home. I may just cut it to the shape of the part of the roof above the driver/passenger and stick it on my roof.
Might solve the problem and might look cooooool lol
Sorry yeah its the condensation.
Its really annoying.
I've just had a thought, i may find every single one of these little packets i have at my house.
Those might soak up the condensation.
Hmmm although i can just see getting pulled over by the fuzz and getting asked what 200 small...
Just put layers of paint on to thicken it up.
As for the fasmask, could try a Model Store if you have one need you. They might sell the stuff i used to use. Or ebay...
I suspect there is no way of curing this problem.
As i have no interiour in my car my roof keeps getting so wet and its really quite annoying as it drips on my face. I keep forgetting to bring a towel to the car when i drive it.
Is there anything i can do apart from putting the headlining...
The roller is a good idea. Might waste quite a bit fo paint as the roller will have to soak up paint befor been able to have enough on it to get an even coat.
Best thing is probably to do what F0xy says. Spray some into the lid and apply with small brush.
Hmmm well i'm not 100% sure if this will work but years and years ago when i used to play with RC cars when i sprayed up the bodies i used to apply this silicon stuff with a brush to the windows. I would then spray the body of the car after it had dryed and then peal off the silicon stuff and it...
My friend bought some cheap discs and the groves has dissipeared after one little sesh around silverstone. He was using carbone lorraine pads but when he had brembo max discs they lasted about 5 trackdays.
Basically dont buy cheap brakes.
